Machining
Thanks to massive investments, ZLKL's machining division is one of the most advanced job shops in Central Europe.
We offer a complete service to our customers, from collaboration on cost-effective product design through production system design and prototyping to the implementation of mass production.
In cooperation with leading machine and tool manufacturers, we create cutting-edge, efficient machining applications for our customers. We manufacture parts for the automotive and electrical industry in batches from one thousand to hundreds of thousands of pieces per year.
Standard machined materials include aluminium, grey and ductile cast iron, steel, stainless steel and copper.
We use the support of CAD/CAM software in the technical preparation of production. We design and manufacture workholding devices and special tools in our own tool room.
Machine equipment and products
- In total, we have more than sixty-five CNC machines. We focus on vertical and horizontal turning and milling.
- The category of vertical lathes mainly includes the most advanced EMAG machines. We have both carousels and pick-up lathes available. For carousels the maximum machining diameter is 900 mm and for vertical pick-up machines the maximum machining diameter is 450 mm. For horizontal turning we work mainly with DMG-MORI or HASS lathes. The maximum machining diameter is 450 mm and the maximum machining length is 1,500 mm.
- We use vertical milling centres of HASS and TAJMAC brands. The maximum workpiece size is 1,200 × 800 mm. As far as horizontal milling centres are concerned, you will find GROB or HELLER brands at our workplaces. The maximum workpiece size is 800 × 800 mm.
- We are also able to verify the pressure tightness of castings, provide automated 100% product inspection and offer cylindrical grinding up to 300 mm diameter and 1,000 mm length.
