In my opinion, the future is in people and the system. I am proud to have managed to build up a very able and progressive team of managers, my two sons being an essential part of it. It is great that this team can rely on experienced professionals and specialists across all departments.
In a long run, I find the success and prosperity in continuous search for new technologies with better productivity, reinvestments and uncompromising emphasis on the quality of our products. We will do everything to retain the reputation of the active, responsible and stable partner. ZLKL offers wide range of production types to our customers. We focus on machining, sheet metal stamping, welding and other complementary services, such as surface treatments, 3D measurement, and development and design. We achieved continuous growth of sales and increase of employees thanks to the complexity, quality, ability to quickly respond to customer requirements and fairly good prices. Our main customers are mainly multinational companies such as Emerson and Siemens.
At present, we export approximately 60% of our production primarily to French and German market. We produce the parts for the electrical industry, water industry and partly to automotive industry.

Thanks to well-set management processes and innovative solutions, we have received the Czech Best Managed Companies award this year. In the first year of the Czech version of this prestigious global program organized by Deloitte, a total of 10 Czech companies were awarded and we are very proud to be one of them.
In the spring of 2019, we opened a boarding house. Primarily we intended this modern building as a benefit for our employees. However, it was shown in a short time that with 60-bed capacity we can offer accommodation also to third party clients. At present we offer big part of the building boarding capacity to employees of employment agencies from the surroundings.
The construction of new production and storage facilities was started and the company was enlarged with Palacký Center in Loštice.
Thanks to the newly received IATF 16 949 certification for the automotive industry, we gained new orders in the automotive, especially for the Daimler AG Group. Massive investments in machinery fleet followed then, the widespread introduction of automation across production and expansion of services such as washing parts and packaging to technical cleanliness.

A company kindergarten was opened in 2012. It focuses on teaching English and it is inspired by Waldorf education (www.medovaskolka.cz). The kindergarten is a part of Work and family life harmonization project (www.projekt-sladovani.cz).

In 2010, the company was certified with ISO and meets the requirements of ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001. New certification was extended to research and development. ZLKL went through very hard times in last few years due to the worldwide economic recession. However, this led to significant rationalization of production, quality improvement and modernization of the whole company.
There is also specific project of development of own, globally unique vehicle for physically handicapped people which started in 2005 (www.elbee.cz).
Another positive turning point in ZLKL development came in 2003 when Ing. Ladislav Brázdil paid out remaining 3 partners and became 100% owner. He purchased new premises and continued with company development. Thanks to the investing strategy instead of paying the dividends, ZLKL became innovative engineering company with top-technology equipment. We dispose of unique technologies such as CMT robotic aluminum welding for automotive industry and leak test chamber for valve pressure testing.
Year 1996 became crucial for company development when we started our partnership with M.L.S. Holice (Moteur Leroy Somer). ZLKL started to focus on stamping, sheet metal, inert-gas shielded arc welding and machining of steel and cast iron parts of alternator and electromotor.
The breakthrough came in 1994. Our company won the tender for back seat parts of Škoda Felicia car supplied to Karsit Holding s.r.o. It was the first step in the quality and quantity growth. The annual sales were 50 to 60 million CZK. There were 80 employees at that time.
ZLKL company was founded in 1993. There were 45 employees in the beginning. The production run in the leased premises and focused on furniture accessories and pullout sofa bases.
We use principles of development sustainability, i.e. balance between economic development, environment friendly approach and social responsibility, responsibility for maintaining requirements of OSH and Fire safety.
It is our philosophy to create values and, at the same time, meet the requirements on continuous development. It affects our Integrated control system, which is based on certified control systems: quality, environment, OSH and information security.

We regularly evaluate our suppliers to ensure constant quality. We ensure the implementation of environmental and safety aspects in marketing and customer-supplier relationship.
The company sets concrete targets related to OSH, carries our periodic inspections, evaluates and reviews accomplishment of our targets and policy affectivity. We continuously raise the level of our integrated system and we meet legal regulations of OSH. We constantly search for and evaluate possible OSH risks.
